NGO Human Resource Analytics Training Course

Course Overview

The NGO Human Resource Analytics Training Course is an advanced professional development programme designed to equip NGO leaders, human resource professionals, humanitarian managers, and organizational development specialists with practical knowledge and analytical skills to leverage workforce data for strategic decision-making and organizational performance improvement. In today's rapidly evolving humanitarian and development landscape, NGOs face increasing demands for accountability, operational efficiency, donor compliance, workforce optimization, and evidence-based management. Human Resource Analytics enables organizations to transform workforce data into actionable insights that strengthen human capital management, workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, succession planning, staff retention, diversity and inclusion, digital HR systems, predictive analytics, organizational development, leadership development, and strategic decision-making.

As humanitarian organizations operate in increasingly complex environments characterized by emergencies, technological advancement, remote work, resource limitations, and growing compliance requirements, HR professionals require analytical tools to assess workforce trends, predict staffing needs, identify performance gaps, measure employee wellbeing, evaluate learning outcomes, and optimize workforce investments. This course introduces participants to internationally recognized HR analytics frameworks, workforce dashboards, HR information systems (HRIS), predictive analytics, artificial intelligence applications in HR, workforce metrics, organizational reporting, and data visualization techniques that support effective organizational leadership and institutional sustainability.

The training combines practical lectures, HR data analysis exercises, Microsoft Excel and Power BI demonstrations, HR dashboard development, workforce forecasting simulations, organizational assessments, case studies, KPI design workshops, HRIS demonstrations, and action learning projects. Participants will gain hands-on experience in collecting, managing, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting HR data while developing workforce analytics strategies that improve recruitment, employee engagement, talent management, organizational performance, and strategic workforce planning across humanitarian and development organizations.

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to design HR analytics frameworks, develop workforce dashboards, monitor human capital performance, improve evidence-based HR decision-making, strengthen workforce planning, optimize organizational resources, improve staff retention, support leadership development, enhance employee performance, and create sustainable HR analytics systems that contribute to organizational excellence and improved humanitarian programme delivery.
