Course Overview
The Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) Training Course is designed to equip humanitarian professionals, development practitioners, project managers, Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) specialists, quality assurance officers, donor-funded project teams, government officials, humanitarian coordinators, NGO staff, UN agency personnel, civil society organizations, and organizational leaders with the knowledge, practical skills, and internationally recognized best practices required to implement the Core Humanitarian Standard on Quality and Accountability (CHS) across humanitarian and development programs. The course provides comprehensive training on humanitarian quality management, accountability, people-centered programming, organizational effectiveness, safeguarding, Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP), risk management, humanitarian principles, protection mainstreaming, complaint and feedback mechanisms, continuous improvement, donor compliance, humanitarian governance, and quality assurance systems. Participants will gain practical competencies for strengthening humanitarian accountability, improving service quality, enhancing beneficiary participation, promoting transparency, and ensuring compliance with international humanitarian standards.

Practical exercises, simulation workshops, organizational assessments, compliance reviews, field-based case studies, and group assignments enable participants to strengthen institutional capacity while delivering accountable, effective, and people-centered humanitarian assistance.
