Chief Executives, Senior and Middle-Level Officers on Renewable Energy and Climate Change
Introduction
The Chief Executives and Officers Workshop on Renewable Energy and Climate Change is a strategic course designed to equip senior leaders and decision-makers with in-depth knowledge and leadership capacity to transition to sustainable energy systems and drive climate action. As the global demand for clean energy and climate resilience intensifies, executives need the tools to navigate policy, innovation, investment, and sustainability in their organizations and sectors.
This program integrates global best practices in renewable energy development, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and the green economy to ensure top-level leaders can formulate strategic responses to the climate crisis. Through expert-led sessions and real-world case studies, participants will gain insights into solar, wind, hydro, and biomass energy systems, green financing, carbon markets, and climate-smart infrastructure.
The course further emphasizes climate policy leadership, regulatory frameworks, energy efficiency strategies, and national and global climate change protocols such as the Paris Agreement, NDCs (Nationally Determined Contributions), and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting. Executives will also explore risk management approaches for climate-related hazards and innovations in clean technology and sustainable energy transitions.
By participating in this executive training, leaders will position their organizations at the forefront of climate-smart innovation and renewable energy transformation. The course ensures strategic alignment with SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) and SDG 13 (Climate Action) while unlocking economic, social, and environmental co-benefits through sustainability leadership.
