Course Overview

The Digital Storytelling for NGOs Training Course is designed to equip communication professionals, development practitioners, humanitarian organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), civil society organizations (CSOs), foundations, government agencies, and advocacy groups with the knowledge and practical skills required to create compelling digital stories that communicate impact, inspire action, strengthen fundraising, enhance advocacy, and build public trust. In today's digital environment, effective storytelling has become an essential tool for demonstrating organizational impact, engaging donors, influencing policy, mobilizing communities, attracting partners, and promoting transparency. This course provides participants with practical approaches to planning, producing, publishing, and evaluating digital storytelling campaigns using modern multimedia communication techniques, ethical storytelling principles, and digital engagement strategies.

Participants will develop practical competencies in story development, narrative design, audience analysis, content strategy, photography, videography, scriptwriting, interviewing techniques, visual communication, graphic design, podcast production, social media storytelling, digital content creation, branding, storytelling ethics, impact reporting, monitoring and evaluation, and digital campaign management.   7. Onsite Training Inclusions: The course fee for onsite training covers facilitation, training materials, two coffee breaks, a buffet lunch, and a Certificate of Successful Completion. Participants are responsible for their travel expenses, airport transfers, visa applications, dinners, health/accident insurance, and personal expenses.
  8. Additional Services: Accommodation, pickup services, freight booking, and visa processing arrangements are available upon request at discounted rates.
