ArcGIS Pro for Military Operations Training Course

Course Introduction

ArcGIS Pro for Military Operations is an advanced geospatial intelligence and defense mapping training course designed to equip military personnel, defense analysts, security agencies, and geospatial professionals with the skills required to leverage ArcGIS Pro for operational planning, battlefield visualization, intelligence analysis, mission support, and military decision-making. As modern military operations increasingly depend on geospatial intelligence (GEOINT), spatial analytics, remote sensing, and real-time situational awareness, ArcGIS Pro has emerged as a critical platform for creating, analyzing, and disseminating operational geospatial information. This course provides practical knowledge on applying GIS technologies to defense, security, and strategic operations.

The course focuses on military GIS workflows, defense cartography, intelligence mapping, operational terrain analysis, battlefield management, force deployment planning, logistics support, surveillance mapping, and geospatial data integration. Participants will learn how to utilize ArcGIS Pro to process and analyze spatial datasets, satellite imagery, reconnaissance information, drone data, and intelligence reports to support operational readiness and mission success. The training integrates military geospatial standards and best practices used by defense organizations worldwide.

Participants will gain hands-on experience in creating military maps, conducting line-of-sight analysis, route optimization, terrain suitability assessments, threat analysis, intelligence fusion, and operational planning using ArcGIS Pro tools. The course also covers spatial database management, military symbology, geospatial intelligence production, geospatial data sharing, and secure information management. Through practical exercises and realistic military scenarios, learners will develop competencies necessary for supporting tactical, operational, and strategic military missions.

Upon completion, participants will be able to use ArcGIS Pro to generate actionable intelligence products, support command and control operations, improve situational awareness, and enhance mission planning effectiveness. The course enables organizations to strengthen defense capabilities through modern geospatial technologies, spatial intelligence systems, and advanced military GIS applications.
