Course Introduction

Gender and Climate Change Monitoring and Evaluation is a specialized professional training course designed to equip monitoring and evaluation specialists, climate change practitioners, gender experts, project managers, policymakers, development professionals, environmental officers, and sustainability practitioners with the knowledge and practical skills required to design, implement, and manage effective monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) systems for gender-responsive climate change programs. As climate adaptation, climate mitigation, resilience-building, and sustainable development initiatives continue to expand globally, organizations increasingly require robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks that measure both climate outcomes and gender equality impacts. This course provides practical tools and methodologies for assessing the effectiveness, efficiency, relevance, sustainability, and impact of climate interventions through a gender-sensitive lens.
