Participants develop competencies to support evidence-based interventions that reduce HIV transmission, improve treatment outcomes, strengthen healthcare systems, and contribute to achieving global HIV epidemic control goals.

The course examines the epidemiology of HIV, transmission dynamics, prevention strategies, HIV testing algorithms, antiretroviral treatment guidelines, opportunistic infection management, prevention of mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT), HIV drug resistance, adherence support, differentiated service delivery models, laboratory systems, healthcare quality improvement, digital health technologies, healthcare financing, program monitoring, strategic planning, and policy implementation. Participants learn how to integrate public health surveillance, healthcare analytics, community engagement, behavioral interventions, healthcare leadership, and multidisciplinary collaboration to strengthen HIV programs and improve health outcomes. Emphasis is placed on ethical practice, confidentiality, stigma reduction, human rights, healthcare governance, and sustainable health system strengthening.

Practical learning activities include HIV program planning, epidemiological data analysis, ART service optimization, viral load monitoring exercises, PMTCT implementation planning, healthcare quality improvement projects, outbreak investigation simulations, monitoring and evaluation workshops, healthcare information systems demonstrations, community engagement strategies, resource mobilization planning, and policy development exercises.   7. Onsite Training Inclusions: The course fee for onsite training covers facilitation, training materials, two coffee breaks, a buffet lunch, and a Certificate of Successful Completion. Participants are responsible for their travel expenses, airport transfers, visa applications, dinners, health/accident insurance, and personal expenses.
  8. Additional Services: Accommodation, pickup services, freight booking, and visa processing arrangements are available upon request at discounted rates.
