Rapid Gender Analysis Course

The Rapid Gender Analysis (RGA) Course equips professionals with the tools and techniques to quickly assess and address gender dynamics in development and humanitarian contexts. The course emphasizes the need for timely, actionable data to inform programs and policies that advance gender equity and inclusivity. Participants will learn how to identify gender disparities, understand power dynamics, and develop strategies that integrate gender considerations into planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Gender analysis is a critical component of sustainable development, yet many organizations struggle with integrating gender insights into their work effectively. This course provides a structured framework to conduct RGAs using participatory and intersectional approaches. Participants will explore how to analyze gender roles, responsibilities, and access to resources in diverse settings, ensuring their programs are inclusive and equitable.

Designed with practical applications in mind, the course includes interactive sessions, group exercises, and real-world case studies. Participants will learn how to apply RGA findings to improve program outcomes, build capacity within their teams, and foster greater accountability in addressing gender issues. The course also addresses challenges such as cultural sensitivities, resource constraints, and data limitations.

Whether you are a development practitioner, humanitarian worker, or policy advisor, the RGA course will enhance your ability to conduct gender analyses in dynamic and complex environments.
