Course Description:
The Research Design, SurveyCTO Mobile Data Collection, GIS Mapping, Data Analysis using NVivo and STATA Course is an intensive, hands-on training program that equips participants with advanced skills in research methodology, digital data collection, spatial mapping, and data analysis for development, social science, and policy research. This comprehensive course integrates modern tools—SurveyCTO, GIS, NVivo, and STATA—to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and quality of research and evaluation processes. Participants will gain the technical capacity to design robust research frameworks, collect reliable field data, perform qualitative and quantitative analyses, and visualize results effectively for decision-making.

The course focuses on practical applications of SurveyCTO for mobile-based data collection, GIS tools for spatial mapping and analysis, NVivo for qualitative data coding and thematic exploration, and STATA for advanced statistical analysis. By mastering these tools, participants will be able to manage mixed-methods research and monitoring and evaluation (M&E) projects with precision and confidence. The training also emphasizes data management, visualization, and ethical research practices.

Through interactive sessions and real-world case studies, participants will learn to design surveys, deploy mobile data collection tools, analyze spatial patterns, and integrate both qualitative and quantitative data for comprehensive reporting. This course is essential for professionals involved in M&E, development research, public policy, social sciences, and project management who aim to use technology-driven research approaches for evidence-based decision-making.
